Emirates LitFest Writing Prize

The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is holding a writing competition for aspiring authors for 2021.

In order to enter the competition, you need to submit a 400-word synopsis of your book along with the first 2,000 words of the manuscript. The last date for entries is 19 December 2020.

The winner of the prize will get the chance to discuss their work with Luigi Bonomi, an international literary agent and founder of Luigi Bonomi Associates. Although the competition doesn’t guarantee a book deal, some of the past winners have gone on to become published authors.

Only open to the residents of the GCC region, all entries must be works of fiction in English, and all participants must be first-time novelists who have never had books professionally published.
