In it's 38th year, the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is one of the few public events to have went ahead in the UAE this year. This is all thanks to the Sharjah government who have ensured the much-loved fair will adhere to the strictest pandemic rules.
The fair is carrying out a slight adjustment with the introduction of the online, virtual programming where guests or visistors can tune into talks by registering beforehand.
It's a wonderful series of discussions that are scheduled to commence on the 4th of November for 11 days until 14 November.
To view the list of events, visit this link here: https://linktr.ee/sharjahbookauthority that will take you directly to all the required registrations, which also includes registering to attend the physical fair itself.
The fair will go on as usual with publishers, bookstores, libraries and other literature entities setting up shop for the whole duration of the event, so make sure you do make your way and have a look at the latest releases in the book world!
One of our favourite things to do at the fair is picking up a piece of knafeh and walking around, skimming through an endless collection of books while meeting independent and indie bookshop owners.
Follow the Sharjah Book Authority on Instagram for daily updates on the event.
And don't forget to pass by the Motivate Media Group stand with a fresh new look where we promote BooksArabia.com. Every guest on our stand will avail 30% discount on any purchase they make.
See you around!
