The 39th Sharjah International Book Fair started on Wednesday, 4 November and will run till Saturday, 14 November. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 10-day literary festival has taken a hybrid approach this year, with most of the cultural programmes – including panel discussions and author sessions – being held online.
We have selected five sessions that are not to be missed. The amazing part: you can watch all of these for free from your couch (you just need to register your email)!!
01 | NEW WRITERS
The British crime novelist Karen Millie James and the Lebanese writer-director Leena Khouri talk about their books and discuss how their very different careers led them to become writers.
