The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is the Arab world’s largest celebration of the written and spoken word. Organised by the Emirates Literature Foundation, the festival aims to connect readers with authors and books. This podcast library features a handpicked selection of some of the festival’s favourite authors.
The latest one talks about the book, Tomorrow, I will Fly, which is a collection of essays and personal reflections written by the men and women in Dubai Central Jail. The book, launched at the 2020 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, was developed as an initiative to help the prisoners find their voices and tell their stories.
