If you are looking for recommendations for the next book, or have, like me, dozens of books on your shelf, and are still looking for new books to collect, Citizen Book is here to help.
This Dubai-based venture offers to set you up on a blind date with a book that they have picked out especially for you.
You only to need to go to their Instagram page and fill out a form that essentially is a survey about your preferred genres, past reads, favourites, and other interests, so the book they pick out for you will match your taste. Once you finish the survey, fill in your mailing details and then wait until the package arrives at your doorstep to know which book you got. The package will also contain a few other items thoughtfully hand-picked for you. It is cash on delivery and costs 85 dirhams, including delivery within Dubai (an additional 5 dirhams for delivery to the other emirates). In case you own or have read the book you get, notify them, and they will exchange it for another one.
