Christianity in the United Arab Emirates celebrates the extraordinary relationship between Emiratis and the Christian community. It is a testimony of gratitude to the government of the UAE for its hospitality and friendship with Christians from all over the world.
The narrative provides a rare insight into the people of the UAE whose religious tolerance has allowed other religions to prosper in the country. It also commemorates those special people from both the Christian and Islamic communities who were outstanding in their relationships with one another.
This cursory overview of the history of Christianity in the UAE serves as a useful introduction to the fruitful partnership between two Abrahamic faiths in a Gulf Arab country.
