Amateur journalist Greg travels to a remote mountain area to investigate rumors of a sinister building only to find himself wrongly imprisoned there, owing to his resemblance to an escaped convict. As he tries to escape from this mysterious facility, he evinces symptoms of a strange affliction, and struggles to remain conscious while maintaining an uncertain hold on reality.

A.M. Kherbash enjoys telling stories in one form or another. Born and raised in Dubai, she worked as a freelance graphic designer and art director for over ten years, during which her work was featured online and in print. She began working on her debut novel, Lesath, in 2015, which was then first published in 2019. Her second book is Shaula, published in 2021.
