13 Amazing Women of Arabia celebrates thirteen inspiring women from the Arab world – they changed the world, left their mark, and opened up a path for future generations of girls from the region. In this inspiring book, thirteen-year-old Dana Alblooshi recounts the stories of the extraordinary Arab women who have inspired her: from ballerinas to politicians, aviators to businesswomen, and scientists to sportswomen. Each "amazing woman" is accompanied by a beautiful illustration done by a different female Arab artist, a celebration of girl power and what women in the region are capable of achieving.
Dana Alblooshi is a thirteen-year-old Emirati author and innovator who is passionate about space, women's issues, and being a role model for young girls. At the age of nine, she was the youngest Emirati to undergo training courses at NASA, receiving nine certificates in space engineering. Alblooshi was also honoured by several institutions including Beirut Institute and the University of Manchester, among others, for her accomplishments.
