About the Author

Wouter Kingma is one of the region's finest photographers with a passion for aerial photography. He has an insatiable appetite for exploring the earth and embarking on unique adventures. In addition to commercial and lifestyle photography assignments, he is also behind much of the pictorial work in Footsteps of Thesiger by famed adventurer Adrian Hayes, which documents the author's crossing of the arid Rub Al Khali. His fresh and innovative work, his popular blog (wouterkingmablog.com) and his exhibitions are an expression of his love for art, photography, people and places, both within and beyond the Middle East. Wouter currently resides in Dubai with his wife and two sons.
